The Honda BF 200D XRU is a 4-stroke outboard marine engine designed for medium and large-sized fiberglass or aluminum boats, private yachts, and multi-person excursion boats requiring an extra-long shaft. It features a 200 HP / 147 kW, 3583 cc V6 SOHC VTEC PGM-FI engine. Honda 4-stroke engines run problem-free for many years with regular oil changes and end-of-season maintenance protocols. The impeller of the water-cooled system should be checked every 100 hours or every two seasons. Fresh water flushing is mandatory after every use in saltwater.
