The Honda BF 150D LDU is a 4-stroke outboard marine engine designed for mid-sized fiberglass, aluminum, or inflatable boats, 5–7 meters in length, that require a long shaft, featuring a 150 HP / 110 kW and 2354 cc 4-cylinder DOHC PGM-FI engine. 4-stroke Honda engines run problem-free for many years with regular oil changes and end-of-season maintenance protocols. The impeller of the water-cooled system should be checked every 100 hours or every two seasons. Fresh water rinsing is mandatory after every use in saltwater.
